Setting up a Pro Studio or commercial electro polish line can help any machine shop that fabricates aluminum or stainless steel control their own quality and lead time.  It will also help the shop save a fair amount of cost in the long run.  Outsourcing your electropolish work involves paying someone else $75-$100 per hour as well as shipping cost.  You can do this yourself for pennies on the dollar and control how much care and quality you require in your final product.

Illustrated here is an example of a small electropolishing line as it would appear in a machine shop application.  Shown above is how an electropolish tank would be set up with a corrosive resistant commercial heater, three bus bars, cathodes, and air agitation tubing at the bottom.  Show below is an electrocleaning tank before the cathodes have been installed.

An electropolishing Pro Studio Kit, as shown below, can produce as good or better finish as compared to outsourcing your work.  These are your parts and you will take more care in doing your electropolishing than anybody else will.  The line is very simple and can be set into use in a small corner of your existing shop.  This line below only takes up a 10 ft by 6 ft footprint.
